What is the difference between VA030 and VA031?
What does it mean fully glycosylated VZV glycoprotein E and mature form only VZV glycoprotein E?
Which is better for immunofluorescence staining?
This has to do with the way the gE protein is post-translationally processed. You can learn more about this in the literature.
Regarding immunofluorescence, both of these antibodies work fairly equivalently. The main functional difference is in ELISA where the VA030 is much more reactive against an infected cell extract.
