Client supplied protein is covalently linked to Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine). The procedure is optimized using a separate optimization phase where the time of conjugation and amount of enzyme used is adjusted to suit your protein. Unconjugated protein and free enzyme is removed from your conjugate to yield a pure product.

Process yield is affected by a number of factors, including free amine content of your protein. To adjust for these variables, an optimization is performed using a portion (0.25 mgs) of your protein prior to conjugating the entire amount supplied. In this way, we can adjust the reaction conditions to suit your protein and give you the best results possible.
Protein concentration is documented (as determined using BGG or BSA standard, as appropriate, in a modified dye binding assay). Proper conjugation and purity are documented in an image of a coomassie stained SDS-PAGE gel that is supplied with your final product.
