Peptide Synthesis


Question:

I am trying to generate an antibody for a specific sequence QIVTDSASVERLLGKQDVQRPQVVE, which locate right before the DBD of an orphan nuclear receptor TR4,(PubMed accession AAC18408). It is ok if u need to extend a little bit to NH2 or COOH. Is it feasible technically? Can u do that?


Resolution:

Seems like you have got it pretty good just like it is. We would only add an N-term cysteine for maleiimide linkage to KLH. We see no problems with synthesis and would love to get started on it.

We charge $23 per residue for a 25 - 40 mg synthesis (immunization grade). So 26 x 23 = $598 for the peptide. We can produce the antibody and immunopurify it on the leftover peptide. If you indicate your animal preference and the extent of your project, we can put together a quotation for you.
