1) Please advise as to the antigen used to prepare this mAb.
2) Do you know the epitope to which this mAb binds? We are making an amino-truncated HSV-2 gD and want to use this mAb in our processing on western blots.
Resolution:
Both of our HSV gD mabs were produced from infected cell extract.
We have not mapped the epitopes so we don't know what to tell you at this point other than they do function well in westerns using native antigen.
