E. coli extraction


Question:
What is the standard protein concentration you obtain using the lysozyme/TRIS sonication metahod for opening E. coli?
I would like a rough estimate in mg/ml PRIOR to concentration or dilution.

Resolution:
This is roughly 8 - 10 mg/ml per gram cell paste when using a ratio of 5:1 extraction volume:cell mass
