Cytomegalovirus

cat cmvHuman Cytomegalovirus is a herpesvirus of  the betaherpesvirinae subfamily. The members of this subfamily tend to have a restricted host range, slow spread in cell culture and a long growth cycle as compared to Herpes Simplex Virus.
