Two New Zealand White rabbits, are immunized via intramuscular injection with client supplied antigen. At day 52 of the protocol, a production bleed is taken and the animals placed on rest pending your testing results.

Production bleeds are approximate 25 ml serum per animal. Exanguination bleeds are approximately 75 ml per animal. Purified antibody yield (total) can be expected to be approximately 3 - 4 mg/ml serum while immunoaffinity is approximately 0.1 - 0.3 mg/ml.
